1- From birth until the age of three months

At this stage the child understands the meaning of what is being said, so it is recommended that you choose a meaningful story for him. It is important for the story to have new value.

If your child is fond of a book and asks that you read it to him constantly, respond to his request, do not try to twist or shorten the story, a familiar story for the child gives him a sense of protection and security.

At this age, your baby's motor skills allow him to start turning pages on his own.

5- From 12 months to 18 months

Your child begins to develop a sense of humor, choose interesting books full of language games for him. Babies at this stage quickly learn new words and add them to their linguistic wealth.

It is preferable to choose children's stories that require completing words or associating the word with a specific object. Books with rich and engaging language related to the baby's world will be well received.

6- From 18 months to 24 months

Children's humorous stories give the child an opportunity to discover and identify the things he loves, especially at this age.

When you read a story to your child, try to get him to guess what will happen next in the story and ask him what choices the characters made in the story.

Questions like: "Do we do this in our house?" or "What time of day did the story take place?" It encourages the child to connect, this kind of understanding and connection helps the child to develop learning skills in the future
